Postcards from San Angelo — Residency Painting Project

From August 25 to September 18, 2025, I will participate in an art painting residency at Angelo State University. During this period, I will present my solo exhibition, “Echoes Vitae” (September 1 – October 31, 2025), and actively engage with the San Angelo community through a dedicated interactive project: Postcards from San Angelo.

2025 Edwards Trust Residency in Painting

I have some exciting news I couldn’t wait to share. I’ve been awarded a four-week artist residency at Angelo State University (ASU) through the 2025 Edwards Trust Residency in Painting in San Angelo, Texas, from August 25th to September 19th. I’m thrilled for this opportunity, especially as it includes a generous full stipend provided by the Joseph Henry and Winona Edwards Family Trust.

The residency will conclude with my solo exhibition at Gallery #193 on the ASU campus, allowing me to showcase new work developed during this period. Additionally, I’ll be delivering a public lecture for the ASU community, discussing my creative process and experiences during the residency.

One of my paintings will also become a permanent addition to ASU’s Art Program collection, an honor I appreciate.
