From August 25 to September 18, 2025, I will participate in an art painting residency at Angelo State University. During this period, I will present my solo exhibition, “Echoes Vitae” (September 1 – October 31, 2025), and actively engage with the San Angelo community through a dedicated interactive project: Postcards from San Angelo.
The idea is simple yet personal:
You send me a photograph of yourself, a loved one, a friend, a place (such as home or a room), or a meaningful object, and I will create a small, original painting based on your image, completed during a focused 45 – 60 minute session during my residency.
Each postcard, size 6 x 4.5 inches, will be signed, numbered, documented, and mailed to you with a personal handwritten note from me. Only a limited number will be created during this project.
Shipping & Pickup
- U.S. Shipping & Handling: $5
- International Shipping: $10
- Local Pickup Option: If you are in San Angelo, you may choose to pick up your postcard at the Angelo State University Gallery during my art residency to avoid shipping fees.
- Postcard Paintings will be available for shipment or in-person collection at the conclusion of the residency on Friday, September 19th, 2025.

This is a rare opportunity to own a unique artwork created during my Angelo State University art painting residency. Each piece carries the energy and immediacy of the moment it was painted, based on your picture and memories. Your postcard becomes both a personal memento and part of the larger story of this painting residency.
How to Join

- The project is limited to 20 participants. One artwork per person.
- Email your photo to [your email address] with the subject line Postcards from San Angelo.
- Indicate if you are a San Angelo local or a general participant.
- Once confirmed, I will schedule your painting during my residency.
- Postcard Paintings will be available for shipment or in-person collection at the conclusion of the residency on Friday, September 19th, 2025.
Availability is very limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
