New Art Studio Equal New Artistic Journey
A new change in my artistic life is taking place this month. I have been knowing about it for around a month now, but I had to wait with announcing the news until I got everything confirmed. It was challenging to keep it quiet and not share any information about my plans, but I am happy to announce it now.
Since I graduated from Private Secondary Fine Art in School in Poland, I always believed that my future is based on the decisions I make, whether they are right or not considered. Decisions shape my future and my well being as a person and an artist. I always say to myself and others that life is about making decisions.
One of Dallas Artists
When I moved to Dallas, I rented a studio space without knowing the city, locations, weather, and other circumstances that made my life creative in Dallas, TX. It has been an incredible journey in Texas so far.
Since I moved here with the help of other people and creative, I was able to get a studio space, run a new Senior Residency Program at the Booker T Washington for one full year, and teach at Southern Methodist University for one semester.
I also had my first solo exhibition in a museum; what is even more remarkable about it, that the solo show was South Texas at Brownsville Museum of Fine Art.
So, the big news is!
This month I got the keys to my new studio. It is located in the same commercial estate. The unit layout will become more efficient in usage.
As you can see in the pictures, space has an office and industrial parts. I will use the warehouse for the messy and joyful part of my art studio, where I will make masterpieces. The office will be arranged with stations for editing, packing, and admin. I will divide the office with a free-standing partition wall that will allow me to create an extra showroom for artworks.
