I am humbled and excited to share that my upcoming solo exhibition, “Echoes of Seasons,” hosted by the Art Gallery at Collin College, caught the attention of MSN (Microsoft Network).
This recognition is a testament to the significance of the themes explored in my artwork and the dedication that has gone into this exhibition.
Echoes of Seasons: My Solo Exhibition
As an artist, there’s nothing quite as thrilling as seeing your work take center stage in a solo exhibition. The culmination of months, even years, of dedication and creativity finally comes to life, inviting art enthusiasts and curious minds to delve into your world. I’m delighted to share that my solo exhibition, “Echoes of Seasons,” hosted by the Art Gallery at Collin College in Plano, Texas, is just around the corner, set to open its doors on September 29, 2023.
The Vision Behind ‘Echoes of Seasons’
“Echoes of Seasons” is more than just a collection of paintings; it’s a visual exploration of the human experience. This exhibition has been a labor of love, a harmonious blend of abstraction and figuration, where neither element dominates the canvas. The paintings themselves are like windows, offering glimpses into the intricate tapestry of inner migration, a theme I’ve weaved throughout this body of work.
Large Scale Paintings and the Gallery’s Grandeur
One of the most exciting aspects of this exhibition is the opportunity to showcase my large-scale paintings. The Art Gallery at Collin College, with its generous space, has provided the perfect canvas for these massive works. Some of these canvases measure around 5×8 feet and 8×8 feet, allowing for a truly immersive experience. The gallery’s expansive walls will be adorned with vibrant, vivid colors in my signature obfuscated and beautifully distorted style.

Exploring the Seasons of Human Nature
Each painting in “Echoes of Seasons” is like a chapter in a story, drawing inspiration from the symbolic framework of the four seasons. Through abstraction and figuration, I’ve sought to encapsulate the essence of each season and how it mirrors the ever-evolving human journey. It’s an exploration that invites viewers to ponder the layers of metaphorical meaning hidden beneath the surface.
A Date for Your Calendar
I’m excited to invite you to the opening reception of “Echoes of Seasons” on October 24, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of art, surrounded by the very pieces that have been my passion and focus. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public, making it an accessible experience for all.
Join Me for an Artist Talk
But that’s not all; on October 10, 2023, from Noon to 12:45 p.m., I’ll be joining Gallery Director Anna Fritzel for an Artist Talk in the gallery. It’s a chance to gain deeper insights into my recent artwork, the creative process, and the stories behind the paintings.
